30 letters in 30 days.........

April 30, 2013.

Well, I just finished hand-writing my 30th letter.  I cannot BELIEVE I hand-wrote 30 letters!

The first third of the month, I was constructing my list of people.  Although this "letter-a-day" task was beginning to feel like a big job to take on, I did enjoy every single letter, and I prayed for that person on that day each time I thought of them, as well as throughout the month.

About two-thirds of the way through the month, I began to notice a "theme" in all of the qualities I admired about people. It actually began to feel as though God was having me examine my heart, both what was true, as well as the lies I believed about myself. And in the past few days, He has revealed to me how much more He wants me to believe in the promises He has for me, as his daughter.  And exactly WHO I AM,  In Him!!!

But that's not all.  He also blessed me with a couple of once-in-a-life-time opportunities.  And in the midst of one of them, I overwhelmingly KNEW not only that I was loved, that I was saved, that I was forgiven, and that He lives in me, but that He wants to bless me.  Abundantly!  Do you HEAR ME?  I said ABUNDANTLY!

Ephesians 3:20-21 says, "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."

He reminded me all month of the blessings of people He has strategically and divinely placed in my life, and then gave me the grand finale of grand finales of the month as I was able to serve Him alongside brothers and sisters in the most least likely of places, and worship alongside the most unlikely of people.  Five years ago, no one could have convinced me I would have had a month of blessings like I have had in April 2013.  Never!

Today, as I wrote letter #30, a sadness came over me as I thought about it being the last letter.  But He quickly reminded me that tomorrow, May 1st, is a new beginning, and as I prepare to study sign language, something that I have ALWAYS wanted to do, I can't help but smile, AND giggle a little bit as I imagine just what He's up to with that!

I have an hour-long drive to and from school.  And oh, did I mention that there is a laundromat next to school?  Perhaps............  I can take advantage of THAT as well.  ;))))   Lord, Lord, what are you up to??
